Kirkwall Corner
A day trip to Kirkwall and a visit to the Earls and Bishops Palaces. Great views looking down on Kirkwall and the St Magnus Cathedral opposite. Climbing to the top of the towers in each palace. This picture is inspired by the view from the top of the Bishops Palace, the rooftops and the tight corner in the road that curves around the Cathedral. But the main memory from this day is of laughter and legs. Legs in a chimney in the Earls Palace. My family having fun whilst learning a little history along the way.
