The Beacon – Cantick Head Lighthouse
Home for a week from where we explored the islands of Longhope and Hoy. Such a stunning place to stay. Right on the edge at the end of the long island of Longhope. A haven. The week spent based here was filled fully with family time. Time well spent.
I find myself been drawn to lighthouses again and again in my work. The structure of them and the idea of guidance and safety that these structures hold I find reassuring. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why I enjoyed staying so much. That and the lovely accommodation, hosts, and location.
